I have my first Anatomy "mini" midterm today. It's worth 50 points instead of 150 and the prof has made it clear that the purpose of this exam is to weed out the people who are going to fail the class!! Oh boy. :P
I have spent the last 30 minutes reviewing connective tissue...areolar, adipose, reticular, dense regular, dense irregular, dense elastic...I'm feeling rather dense myself. :P

It's all how you react under pressure. You will not remember everything you cram into your head. I got pretty good at the cram and dump technique. You will learn everything you need to know out here in the real world. Hang in there!
Yeah...you pretty much nailed my thoughts on this! I was talking to an NP I see for some disibility stuff and asked her exactly why I need to know the seven bones that make up the orbit of the eye and why I need to know the grooves on the inside of the skull...when exactly will I be using this information? Her reply was that most likely I won't use that or about 70% of what I learn in this class. Her theory is that the class is more of a weeding tool for the program. Can't get through Anatomy? Well you certainly won't get through your clinicals then!!
